Months, not weeks

Four to six weeks to Canada. Four to seven months to Europe or the UK.

You are the importer

Papers are issued in your name, so we need your legal name and address.

Air Canada does not carry dogs in the hold from Samaná in winter

From 1 November to 31 March, dogs and cats are not accepted in the hold on Air Canada flights from Samaná (AZS) to Montréal operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The hold's heating is limited and cannot keep an animal safe at altitude in that season.

Check the aircraft type before you book, and confirm your dog's passage with Air Canada. A flight from Santo Domingo (SDQ), or a different aircraft on the same route, may still be possible.

Travel

I can travel with Poso, or arrive within five days.Travelling together keeps this a personal import. Otherwise it becomes a commercial movement with a lot more paperwork, and some countries do not allow it at all from here.

Why Poso?

I understand this takes months, that I am the importer of record, and that I pay for the travel and paperwork on my side.
