About giving to a dog on this site. Anything else, write to us.
Giving
Open a dog's page — by pointing your phone at the tag on their collar, or from the list of dogs. Each thing they need is listed with what it costs. Choose one, or give to a whole stage of their care, and pay by card or Bitcoin.
Card payments are handled by Square, and Bitcoin by BTCPay. Both work without an account.
Cards are charged in Canadian dollars, whatever currency the page is showing you. Where a dog's page displays another currency, the estimated charge in Canadian dollars is shown before you pay.
Not for a one-off contribution. You only need one to give every month, because that has to be attached to someone we can show it to and let them stop it.
To the need you picked. A contribution is allocated to that specific thing rather than to a general pot, and once a need is fully covered it stops accepting money. Adoption is the exception: it is not funded here at all, because the adopter pays the paperwork, the crate and the flight directly.
Yes. A confirmation is emailed to the address you give at checkout.
After you have given
The rescue marks the need complete once the vet has done it, and everyone who paid towards it gets an email. The update and the photographs stay on that dog's page.
Yes, with an account. Monthly contributions are listed in your dashboard, where you can also stop them at any time.
Write to us with the email address you used and roughly when you paid, and we will find it. Do not pay twice.
Other ways to help
Yes, and it takes months rather than weeks. You are the importer of record, so the export paperwork is issued in your name and you pay for it, along with the crate and the flight. Start from the dog's own page and we will show you the steps for your country.
Yes. Driving a dog to the vet, a feeding round on the beach, fostering for a few nights, photographs, or carrying a dog home on your own flight. No account needed to offer.
If you know which dog it is, report it from their page. Tell us where you saw them and what worried you, and the rescue will pick it up.
